As part of the ASD Lighting plc portfolio we are pleased to introduce the Lighting Projects Department. The team of specialist designers who are qualified by both LIF and ICEL, offer an additional service to our customers in all aspects of lighting for the building industry; by providing a free lighting scheme design service that covers a wide range of design solutions for all applications.
The Design Service
Using state of the art technology we are able to check illuminance levels and produce 3D computer generated visualisations of our lighting schemes. Furniture and colour schemes can also be incorporated into the design to produce ‘photo like’ images of the finished environment. Virtually any type of design can be produced for interior and exterior areas of commercial or municipal buildings. We are extremely strong in communal areas for buildings such as student accommodation, apartment blocks and healthcare units and are able to offer superb knowledge and design skill for stairwells. As well as promising that our lighting schemes will impress, there are also the added incentives that the design service is free of charge and there are no minimum-scheme-value requirements.
The Design Process
We appreciate that the size of a project can vary from large new developments to refurbishments of existing rooms. We are happy to accept projects in all forms and sizes from telephone conversations and faxed sketches to hard copies of drawings or in AutoCAD DXF and DWG as well as PDF and Autoviewer formats. Once our lighting scheme has been completed we will mark the luminaire positions on the drawings, along with details of emergency luminaire requirements
