ASD Launches revolutionary Highway LED Streetlight

ASD has launched its revolutionary LED Streetlight with 18 LED, 36 LED and 54 LED configurations.
The product has been designed thoroughly over two year period to
ensure it meets the requirements of BS5489 (code of practice for the
design of road lighting) and BS
EN13201-1:2003 (road lighting performance requirements for 'S' Class
road lighting layouts).
The ASD Lighting mentality for design flair and desire to stand out
from the crowd has meant that once again ASD has gone above and beyond
the basics to ensure that our product is one of the best performing on the
market, delivering the most light to the required areas for the minimum
amount of energy used.
The amount of research and time that the design team put
into developing the critical aspects of the product, such as lense
design, has allowed us to excel with an exceptional prodcut which is both
visually stunning and delivers light only to the areas it is needed
with almost zero light pollution away from the road and pathways.
The optical lenses have been developed and then tested using the
facilities of the National Physics Laboratory and the photometric
performance has been independently tested at the British Standards
Institute.
The two year design period which involved working closlely with
several major clients in
the streetlighting industry has resulted in many unique, market lead,
features being designed into the product, such as a specialised lens
design and a 125°
adjustable mounting spigot meaning the luminaire is suitable for both single or twin column or wall mounting arrangements.
