WEEE Directive
ASD Lighting Plc is pleased to announce that we will fully comply with the requirements of the WEEE Directive which comes into force on the 1st July 2007. This is a legal requirement which ensures that all lamps and fittings which are placed into the market are subsequently disposed of correctly.
ASD have joined the Northern Compliance Scheme (PCS No. WEE/UP3438PR/SCH) who will take complete responsibility for ASD branded fittings and lamps, the ASD Producer Compliance Registration no is WEE/EG0157RT/PRO.
General Terms and Conditions of WEEE Collections

Northern Compliance fund, subject to the terms below, the transportation and environmentally sound recycling of obligated WEEE arising in the compliance period:
When an item becomes WEEE the producer will fund its environmentally sound disposal via its Producer Compliance Scheme subject to the following Terms & Conditions:
The B2B end user had proof of Obligated WEEE to be collected and in sufficient volume as to make its collection environmentally sustainable. (This volume can be made up of both obligated and non obligated WEEE)
The WEEE is taken back to one of our Producer Compliance Scheme’s B2B Designated Collection Facilities or WEEE Collection Points
The WEEE is taken or posted back to the producers chosen WEEE collection point(s)
Where there is no proof of Obligation WEEE collections will incur a charge from our Producer Compliance Scheme.
